Saurabh Sharan and Nikhil Desai, two team 254 leaders, were named semi-finalists in the annual Intel Science Talent Search. Congratulations to Nikhil and Saurabh on this great honor!

In addition to Nikhil and Saurabh, two other Bellarmine students were among 29 Bay Area semifinalists.  Nikhil’s project in bioengineering was titled “Improving dynamic Range and membrane Localization of a Flourescent Voltage Sensor”. Saurabh’s project in computer science was titled “The Parameter-Free Graph Based Nuclear Segmentation in Cellular Images Unsing Morphological Cues”.
