The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a mid-level robotics competition targeted toward high-school aged students. It offers the traditional challenge of a FIRST Robotics Competition but with simpler robots and smaller teams.

The Cheesy Poofs participated in the 2008 FTC season as Team 567. FTC Team 567 won its local tournaments and performed well at the World Championship. After 2008, the team instead competed in the VEX Robotics Competition from 2009, ending in 2023 when the team decided to return to FTC.
